I just purchased Invincible # 63. conquest brutally kills Atom Eve. I am sorry I purchased this issue!
Sorry? I can't agree, so glad I bought this issue at random to see what was up in Invincible's world. The death of Eve is sad, to be sure, but its been long since I've been moved by a moment in comics like that. Great writing and art from Kirkman, as usual.
It was a good comic, good art, good story, but you know what got me into Invincible? Atom Eve. She was like the grounded, down to Earth friend that I liked to visit with from time to time, and honestly, if she goes, that is the end of the story to me. I will see how Conquest is defeated, wrap that up, and then probably drop this comic title from my pulls at the comic book store. - Doc Clu
